Full arch/ Mouth Implant supported rehabilitation

Full arch implant -supported restorations are generally considered for patients who..

  1. Have multiple missing teeth or are completely edentulous

  2. are dissatisfied with traditional dentures due to fit, function or aesthetics

  3. have sufficient bone density for implant placement or are willing to undergo bone grafting

  4. Are in good general health and can undergo dental surgery

  5. Are non-smokers or willing to quit smoking , or willing to reduce considerably

  6. Assure for good maintenance and maintain regular follow-ups.

Full arch implant -supported restorations come in a few different types:

  1. Fixed Full arch Restorations:

    These are non-removable and permanently attached to implants.

    They include:

    : All-on-4/ All-on-6:using 4 or 6 implants to support an arch

    :Implant supported bridge Traditional bridge supported by multiple implants.

2. Removal Overdentures:

These can be removed by the patient for cleaning.

Thye include :

  • Bar-Retained overdentures: A metal bar attached to implants supported the denture

  • Ball-retained overdentures: Ball-like attachements on implants connect to sockets on the denture.
